About the Role
We are seeking an cutting-edge Project Engineer specializing in Magnets and Magnetic Drives to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced magnetic components within specialized medical technologies.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging complex engineering principles with clinical applications—bringing novel magnetic drive solutions from initial concept through prototyping, testing, regulatory alignment, and full commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Engineer high-performance magnets and magnetic drive systems tailored for advanced medical applications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and clinical teams to define robust product requirements and technical specifications.
Simulation & Optimization: Conduct thorough magnetic field analysis, computer simulations, and performance testing to optimize designs.
Prototyping & Validation: Execute feasibility studies, build functional prototypes, and oversee rigorous system validation.
Documentation:



Generate detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, risk assessments, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Manufacturing Support: Provide valuable design inputs to support process development, assembly workflows, and quality control standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities align with applicable medical industry standards and regulatory frameworks (such as FDA and ISO 13485).
Innovation & IP: Stay current with emerging magnet technologies and actively contribute to intellectual property initiatives and patent filings.
Clinical Immersion: Engage with clinical environments, including surgical labs and procedures, to deepen domain expertise, support product validation, and refine design strategies.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or an equivalent technic
