We are hiring a Government Sales & Tender Manager to build and scale our government business across GeM, state e-procurement portals, CPPP, PSUs, municipal corporations, PWD, irrigation departments, mining departments, and other government procurement channels.
This is not a documentation role. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying tenders, qualifying opportunities, preparing bids, participating in reverse auctions, winning orders, and managing execution until payment collection.
The primary objective is to build a predictable government sales pipeline and generate measurable order value.
Key responsibilities
Tender Discovery
Monitor GeM, CPPP, and state e-procurement portals daily.
Identify relevant tenders based on product categories and keywords.
Build and maintain a tender pipeline.
Track bid deadlines and corrigenda.
Tender Qualification
Evaluate eligibility criteria.
Assess technical requirements.
Analyze EMD and PBG implications.
Estimate competition and win probability.
Recommend Go / No-Go decisions.
Bid Preparation
Prepare technical and commercial bids.
Compile all statutory and compliance documents.
Prepare BOQs, declarations, affidavits, and compliance statements.
Coordinate with technical, finance, and management teams.
Ensure 100% bid submission accuracy.
GeM Management
Manage the company’s GeM OEM account.
Create and optimize product catalogs.
Update specifications, pricing, and keywords.
Participate in GeM custom bids and reverse auctions.
Track GeM performance and buyer ratings.
Government Business Development
Build relationships with government buyers.
Follow up with departments after bid submission.
Understand department procurement patterns.
Identify upcoming procurement opportunities.
Develop repeat business with government departments.
