Experience: 3–5 years MS SQL administration
Job Overview:Administer MS SQL 2019 estatesacross DEV/UAT/Staging/PROD/DR including backup, patching, tuning, and DR readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Backup/restore execution and periodic restoredrills.
Always On/replication monitoring; DR drill activities.
Performance tuning, index/statistics maintenance, blocking/deadlock analysis.
DB patching per policy; VA closure for databases.
User access management with periodic review;license compliance.
Deployment of databasescripts during releases;housekeeping and archivaljobs.
Prepare operational reports, capacity/utilization inputsand service metrics.
Ensure SLA compliance, audit readiness and RBI/security policyadherence.
Maintain SOPs,
runbooks, KB articles and operational documentation.
Coordinate with OEMs/vendors and internal teams for issueresolution.
Support DR drills, patching,vulnerability remediation and preventive maintenance.
Participate in RCA preparation for Priority incidents.
Follow Incident,Problem, Change and Service RequestManagement processes.
Technical Skills:MS SQL 2019, Always On AG, SSMS, T-SQL, backuptooling, performance tuning. Certifications: Preferred: Microsoft DP-300.
