Role Description:

This is a full-time in office role for a Solar Procurement and Purchase Manager. The Procurement and Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing supplier evaluations, negotiating contracts, and overseeing procurement processes. The Procurement and Purchase Manager will also be responsible for contract management and reporting to senior management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Project Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand the procurement needs for ground-mounted solar captive power projects.
Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of project requirements to determine procurement strategies.
2 Vendor Identification and Evaluation:
Identify potential suppliers, contractors, and service providers through market research and industry contacts.
Evaluate and qualify vendors based on criteria such as reliability, quality, cost, and compliance with project specifications.
3 RFI/RFP Development:
Develop and manage Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.




Clearly articulate project requirements and evaluate responses from vendors.
4 Negotiation and Contracting:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Draft, review, and finalize contracts with selected vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
5 Supplier Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process.
6 Cost Management:
Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking opportunities for cost reduction without compromising project quality.
Implement cost tracking mechanisms and report regularly on procurement expenditures.
