Role Description Interns in Community Waste Management at VIKASIT ECOSYSTEMS will support planning and implementation of local waste management and recycling initiatives in Bengaluru communities. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with waste audits, helping design and execute community outreach programs, and gathering data on waste streams and recycling practices. Interns will contribute to training sessions for households,
institutions, and local stakeholders on sustainable waste handling, segregation, and recycling. Responsibilities also include collaborating with the team to document processes, prepare reports, and share insights that improve project outcomes. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site community engagement and some work-from-home for research, documentation, and coordination.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Waste Management and Solid Waste Management, with an interest in community-level implementation.
