Senior Associate – DevOps EngineerEducation
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s in Science (M.Sc.) with specialization in Computer Science / Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent relevant technology experience.
Experience Criteria
Minimum 3–6 years of hands-on experience working with DevOps technologies.
Experience in the FinTech / Payments domain is preferred.
Qualified Experience / Responsibilities
Hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and Redis.
Experience working with GitHub and Jenkins.
Strong understanding of the overall technology stack of the product.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production errors.
Investigate and resolve technical and production issues.
Provide Level 2 (L2) technical support.
Deploy application updates, patches and fixes.
Configure and manage Development, UAT and Production environments using technologies such as:
Java
Nginx
Kafka
Redis
Cassandra
Understand and troubleshoot network connectivity between systems.
Use API/application performance monitoring and tracking platforms such as Kibana.
Hands-on experience with at least one database such as:
PostgreSQL
HSQL
Cassandra
Hands-on experience in debugging technical issues and implementing fixes.
Experience using Agile/project-management and collaboration tools such as:
Azure DevOps
JIRA
Slack
Track API performance and ensure timely resolution of performance-related issues.
Coordinate with multiple internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely task delivery.
Knowledge of Web/Application Servers such as Apache and Nginx.
Understanding of the lifecycle and future trends of digital payment products and global payment systems is preferred.
Knowledge of Elasticsearch and emerging technologies such as Blockchain, AI and ML would be an added advantage.
Experience in designing, developing and implementing large-scale payment platforms. Experience leading large-scale projects/programs involving operations and maintenance wou
