Based in Mumbai, with a team of over 150 dedicated professionals, Arpan is India's largest non-profit providing CSA Prevention and Intervention services for both children and adults. As a thought leader in CSA Prevention and Intervention, Arpan drives policy and systemic change at the local, state, and national levels through advocacy and research. Since 2007, Arpan has impacted over 20.3 million children and adults. This role sits within the Communications team, reporting to the Manager, Communications, as part of Arpan's efforts to build a robust digital presence for a complex and often unacknowledged social issue.
Role
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for raising awareness on the complex and unacknowledged issue of child sexual abuse through digital platforms.
This role gives a unique opportunity to build a digital presence for a social cause, as Arpan looks to establish itself as a leader in the online space within the still-evolving social sector.
Responsibilities
Manage all social media channels, including response management, to sustain an engaging audience experience
Innovate, create, visualise, and design posts in collaboration with the design and leadership teams
Research and analyze social media trends, ad revenue, and web visitor data to improve presence and campaign efficacy
Implement social media strategies across all online platforms
Create engaging content to promote the overall brand through social media channels
Collaborate with internal teams to design digital content strategy
Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns against ROI and KPIs
Reach out to influencers and celebrities for collaboration
