This role sits within WOTR's finance and accounts function, which manages donor funds, statutory compliance and the financial planning that keeps this work running.
Role
As Head of Finance & Accounts,
you will lead financial management and strategy for the organisation. You will make sure donors receive accurate and timely reports, keep the organisation fully compliant with every statutory requirement, and turn financial data into insight that guides decisions. You will work closely with internal teams to automate financial recording and reporting, and you will report to the Executive Director or her nominee.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate donor reporting and analysis.
Review and analyse financial variances every month and every quarter.
Meet all internal and external reporting standards and timelines.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including direct and indirect taxes and FCRA.
Align internal procedures with the relevant regulations and statutes.
Work with internal and external audit teams and supervise the gathering and finalisation of the data they need.
