About the Role
Karamtara Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Talent Acquisition to lead the end-to-end talent acquisition function for the organisation. Based at the Corporate Office in Worli, Mumbai, the incumbent will be responsible for designing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and hire high-caliber talent across corporate functions as well as manufacturing plant locations, spanning engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, projects, sales, and support functions.
The role requires a robust understanding of the heavy engineering and manufacturing sector, workforce planning, leadership hiring, employer branding, campus engagement, and recruitment process optimization, along with the ability to manage hiring seamlessly across both corporate and plant environments.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy
Develop and implement organization-wide talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth plans, covering both corporate office and manufacturing plant requirements




Partner with business leaders to forecast manpower requirements and develop hiring plans for corporate functions and plant operations alike
Build a robust talent pipeline for critical, leadership, and plant-critical positions
Drive workforce planning initiatives to ensure timely availability of talent across all locations
Recruitment Leadership
Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, plant, engineering, technical, managerial, and leadership roles
Oversee hiring across manufacturing operations, maintenance, projects, quality, supply chain, commercial, sales, and corporate support functions
Manage senior-level and executive recruitment mandates for both corporate and plant leadership positions
Ensure achievement of hiring targets within defined timelines and budgets across all manufacturing plants and the corporate office
Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with Business Heads, Plant Heads, Functional Leaders
