? Role Overview
We are looking for an Application Engineer to provide front-line technical support for tax, accounting, and workflow applications used across the organization. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, managing incidents and service requests, supporting business users, and ensuring timely resolution in accordance with ITIL standards and SLA requirements.
? Applications Supported
Candidates should have hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following applications:
Drake – Professional tax preparation software
Lacerte – Professional tax software for individual and business returns
QuickBooks – Accounting and bookkeeping platform
Transaction Pro – QuickBooks data import/export and transaction utility
UltraTax – Tax compliance and preparation software
CCH Axcess – Cloud-based tax, audit, and accounting workflow platform




? Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Support applications including Drake, Lacerte, QuickBooks, Transaction Pro, UltraTax, and CCH Axcess.
Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problems using ITIL-based processes.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical end users, tax/accounting teams, and vendor support teams.
Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Maintain and update knowledge base articles, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation.
Monitor application health and perform routine application checks.
Assist with application updates, patches, deployments, and integrations.
Escalate complex or critical issues with complete troubleshooting details and proper documentation.
Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting defined SLA commitments.
