TB Alert India works to end tuberculosis in India by making diagnosis and treatment reach the people who are most often missed. It partners with government TB programmes, private doctors and community groups so that families do not have to travel far or pay heavily to get care. Its work covers finding TB early, supporting people through the full course of treatment, and building the skills of health workers at district and state level. TB survivors and affected communities are part of how the organisation designs and delivers its programmes. This role sits within TBAI's Telangana team for the Global Fund TB project, which decentralises paediatric TB care across public and private health services and runs active case finding with AI enabled handheld X-ray devices.
Role
The State Technical Manager will lead implementation of a project decentralizing pediatric TB care services and enhancing case detection through Active Case Finding with handheld X-ray devices across selected districts in Telangana. This is a 3-year project role, running until March 2027, reporting to the State Director.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee project operations at the state level and keep delivery on plan.
Build and sustain working relationships with state NTEP officials, regional and state WHO consultants and the Mission Director of NHM.
Advocate and network with state officials, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Women and Child Development, RBSK and RKSK and medical associations to open partnerships that reach district officials.
Ensure an uninterrupted supply of diagnostics, drugs and consumables under the project.
Create state level strategies for effective implementation and resolve challenges at state and sub state level as they arise.
Provide technical and administrative supervision
