At Agrofield, we’re building one of India’s most trusted brands in wood-pressed oils.
We are now looking for someone who can take ownership of one of our most key functions: Raw Material Procurement.
Our hero category is wood-pressed oils, and as we scale, we want to move from opportunistic buying to building a strong, reliable and scalable agricultural sourcing network.
What will you own?
You will be responsible for building Agrofield's raw-material procurement engine, starting with groundnuts and eventually expanding across our entire oil portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building relationships with farmers, FPOs, APMCs, commission agents, traders and processors
• Identifying and developing reliable raw-material suppliers
• Leading seasonal procurement and bulk buying strategies
• Building a network across major sourcing regions such as Gujarat and other key oilseed markets
• Negotiating prices, payment terms and procurement contracts
• Understanding commodity cycles,



market prices and seasonal movements
• Developing a system for evaluating suppliers based on quality, oil yield, consistency and landed cost
• Working closely with our manufacturing and production teams to plan raw-material requirements
• Building and managing raw-material inventory and storage strategies
• Establishing procurement SOPs, quality specifications and supplier evaluation systems
• Travelling to agricultural markets, farms, APMCs and supplier locations to build the network on the ground
• Eventually building and managing a procurement team

Farmer → Market → Quality → Oil Yield → Storage → Manufacturing → Landed Cost
