Key Responsibilities:
Preparation, filing, and submission of GST returns in compliance with local laws and regulations.
GST compliance, including reconciling GST liabilities and ensuring accurate documentation.
Collaborate closely with the tax team to ensure proper reporting and adherence to GST regulations across all business functions.
Manage VAT return preparation and filing for the UAE jurisdiction, staying up to date with VAT legislative changes and business developments.
Act as the main point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities related to GST and VAT.
Conduct risk assessments, prepare detailed tax reports,
and provide strategic tax advice to senior management.
Manage relationships with external tax consultants and auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CA, MBA Finance, CA inter or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in GST and indirect tax compliance.
Strong understanding of GST and VAT regulations, with prior UAE VAT experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in handling complex tax-related issues and providing detailed reporting.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
