Job Purpose: As the Washery O&M; Engineers in a coal mine washery, the incumbent oversees all mechanical operations to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of equipment essential for coal processing. Their role involves leading maintenance activities, implementing preventive measures, and resolving mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Additionally,

Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
Review maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production requirements efficiently.
Monitor maintenance costs and budgetary allocations, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
