Financial Analyst – AIFA (Project Finance & Investments)

As a Financial Analyst within our AIFA team, you will play a key role in assessing greenfield and M&A; opportunities. Your financial models and analyses will directly influence investment decisions and help secure the funding that turns ambitious plans into operational assets.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain financial models for project valuations in line with ENGIE's investment guidelines and modelling standards.
Conduct financial analyses, review third-party models, and perform model audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support the structuring and execution of project financing plans, including bank selection and funding source evaluation.




Prepare accounting and tax impact assessments within financial models, collaborating with internal experts and external advisors.
Analyze risk allocation, bankability considerations, and tax optimization strategies for current transactions.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal AIFA methodologies and analytical tools.
Collaborate with senior team members on cross-regional transactions spanning India, the Middle East, and Africa.

What You Bring

A degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering, or a professional qualification such as CFA, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within project finance, financial advisory, or investment analysis.
Proven financial modelling expertise with advanced Excel skills, including the ability to write basic Macros.
Solid understanding of financial valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and tax structuring.
