We work across the global supply chain, sourcing, trading, and supplying agricultural commodities and food ingredients to customers across international markets.

As our European business continues to expand, we are looking for a Purchase Executive – European Buying to join our Mumbai team and work closely with the Managing Director on procurement, sourcing, supplier development, and market intelligence across European markets.
This role offers an opportunity to work closely with international suppliers and gain hands-on exposure to European commodity markets, international procurement, food ingredients, and cross-border trade.

About the Role
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing suppliers, sourcing products, evaluating commercial opportunities, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting procurement planning for European markets.





The successful candidate will combine solid commercial judgement with analytical ability and an understanding of international procurement and agricultural or food-related supply chains.
The role will involve regular interaction with suppliers, internal teams, and senior management, with opportunities for travel to meet suppliers and attend trade exhibitions and industry events.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers across European markets.
Source agricultural commodities, food ingredients, and related products based on market and customer requirements.
Conduct supplier research, market analysis, price benchmarking, and commercial evaluations.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, minimum order quantities, quality specifications, and delivery schedules.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and sourcing partners.
Monitor European commodity markets, crop conditions, supply
