About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Application Support Engineer to provide front-line technical support for tax, accounting, and workflow applications used across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring business users can work efficiently with minimal disruption, resolving application-related issues within defined SLAs, and following ITIL-aligned support processes.

Applications Supported
The candidate should have hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following applications:
Drake – Professional tax preparation software for individual and business tax filings
Lacerte – Professional tax software for complex individual and business tax returns
QuickBooks – Accounting and bookkeeping platform for financial management
Transaction Pro – Data import/export utility for QuickBooks and accounting transactions
UltraTax – Tax compliance and preparation software from Thomson Reuters




CCH Axcess – Cloud-based tax, audit, and accounting workflow platform from Wolters Kluwer
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for supported tax, accounting, and workflow applications.
Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problems in accordance with ITIL practices.
Communicate proactively and effectively with business users, tax and accounting teams, and application vendors.
Follow ITIL-aligned processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Maintain and update knowledge base articles, SOPs, and application support documentation.
Monitor application health and perform routine application checks.
Assist with application updates, patches, releases, and deployments.
Identify recurring issues and contribute to problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.
