SCADA & OT Integration Engineer — Site Digitization Hub
At ENGIE, we believe the energy transition starts with making every renewable asset intelligent from day one. Our Site Digitization Hub connects solar, wind, and storage sites across 22 countries to a single corporate SCADA backbone — turning raw infrastructure into visible, auditable, and optimizable digital assets.
We are looking for a SCADA & OT Integration Engineer to own this critical connection end-to-end. You will take a site from kickoff to Provisional Acceptance, ensuring clean data flows and full digital readiness. If you thrive on solving integration puzzles across protocols, vendors, and time zones, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end SCADA Backbone onboarding for assigned PV, BESS/Hybrid, and Wind sites, from kickoff through Provisional Acceptance
Review SCADA architecture, SLD documentation, tag lists, and data models against ENGIE standards, issuing structured compliance findings to EPC contractors and OEMs
Configure and troubleshoot site-level dataloggers, gateways,
and servers across the full protocol stack — Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 104, IEC 61850, OPC UA, DNP3, and TCP/IP networking
Coordinate remotely with OEM vendors, EPC contractors, and country commissioning teams to resolve integration blockers and meet project timelines
Lead or support FAT/SAT activities, ensuring tag mapping accuracy, data quality, and telemetry integrity before handover
Track non-conformances in SCADA deliverables through to closure and escalate risks to SDH leadership when integration quality or schedule is at stake
Contribute to SDH playbooks, reference architectures, and automation pipelines by feeding real-world lessons into tooling and standards
What You Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent discipline
5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in utility-scale renewable energy SCADA engineering, with depth in solar PV commissioning, PPC integration, and OT n
