Role Description This is a full-time, in office Design Engineer role based in Chennai.



The Design Engineer will develop and refine components and systems for electric buses and light commercial vehicles, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and supporting product design from concept through prototype and production. The role involves participating in design reviews, analyzing test data, resolving engineering issues, and continuously improving designs for manufacturability, cost, and reliability. The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth integration of designs into production.
