? Position Details

Position: Firmware QA Tester
Experience: Fresher / 0–1 Year
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time

? What You’ll Do

• Understand firmware requirements and prepare test scenarios & test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing of firmware
• Test firmware on development boards and embedded hardware
• Validate different firmware builds and releases
• Analyze UART/Serial logs and identify abnormal behavior
• Reproduce, document, and report firmware issues
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Test basic hardware–firmware interactions such as GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, etc.
• Perform basic BLE/Wi-Fi and wireless testing as required
• Maintain test cases, test reports, and defect records




• Work closely with firmware developers to identify and resolve issues
• Support firmware release and validation activities

?️ What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of Firmware Testing and QA
• Basic knowledge of Embedded Systems and Microcontrollers
• Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ is preferred
• Understanding of UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of BLE/Wi-Fi is a plus
• Familiarity with Serial Terminals, JTAG/SWD programmers, or debugging tools is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valuable attention to detail and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn embedded technologies and testing tools
