About the role :-
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join the team, where you'll be at the heart of the action: transaction success rates, settlement cycles, reconciliation, vendor performance - the stuff that actually keeps money moving smoothly for millions of users. Your SQL skills won't just power dashboards; they'll uncover the "why" behind the numbers and shape decisions that matter.
Must-haves :-
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Economics, Stats, Math, etc.).
Strong SQL skills - should be comfortable writing complex queries (joins, window functions, CTEs) on large transactional datasets.
Ability to independently pull, clean, and structure data without heavy hand-holding.
Comfortable working with payment/transaction data (. (success rates, failures, settlements, reconciliation).
Explicit communicator who can turn raw numbers into simple, actionable insights.
Good-to-haves :-
Experience in fintech, payments, or banking-adjacent companies.
Familiarity with dashboarding tools (Metabase, Looker, Mixpanel).
Comfort with Python/Excel for ad-hoc analysis.
Understanding of payment gateways, UPI, settlement cycles, or reconciliation processes.
Exposure to large-scale databases (BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse, etc.)
Roles and Responsibilities :-
Write SQL queries to pull and analyze payments data (transactions, success/failure rates, settlements).
Monitor key payments metrics and flag anomalies or drop-offs proactively.
Build and maintain simple dashboards/reports for ongoing visibility.
Turn data into clear insights for the team - not just raw numbers.
Support ad-hoc data requests from Payments, Finance, and Product teams.
