Role Description The Assistant Professor of Finance will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate finance courses, designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and assessments that align with institutional curricula and industry needs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing course materials, supervising student projects,



advising students on academic progress, and contributing to curriculum development in finance and related areas. The role also involves conducting academic or applied research, publishing in relevant journals, and participating in departmental meetings, academic events, and quality assurance activities. The Assistant Professor will collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to integrate practical financial and economic insights into teaching and to support CTPL’s broader EdTech initiatives. This is a full time, on-site position based in Mohali district.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics.
Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices relevant to business and financial decision-making.
Solid understanding of Economics, including micro and macroeconomic concepts applied to financial markets.
