Role Description This is a full-time, in office Purchase Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Purchase Engineer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities for plastic auxiliary equipment and related components, including vendor identification, quotation evaluation, and negotiation of pricing and terms.



Responsibilities include creating and processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring material availability to support production plans. The role involves analyzing procurement data, optimizing costs, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet technical and commercial requirements. The Purchase Engineer will also support supplier performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes and policies.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities.
Experience in Purchase Planning and managing Purchase Orders to align material availability with production schedules.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, compare suppliers, and optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
