Head of Business Development

This is a 100% inbound role – no cold calls, no target sheets. Every lead that reaches this seat has already chosen to engage; the job is deciding which conversations are worth months of patient work, and representing the studio's standing to CEOs and promoters who've never met you before.

What You'll Own
The full inquiry pipeline – qualification, tracking, follow-through, from first contact to proposal
Assessing financial capacity, client decision-making maturity and project fit before anything reaches the partners
Direct conversations with promoters and, over time, CEOs of major client organisations
The call on when to push an inquiry forward and when to intentionally hold it back
Dozens of concurrent, multi-month relationships – including inquiries that don't convert this year
Complex, documentation-heavy submissions for institutional and public inquiries running into hundreds of pages
One direct report, with the studio's communications team backing you on documentation as volume grows

What We're Looking For




10-15 years in a client-facing, relationship-led role – dedicated BD experience is a plus, not a prerequisite
A track record of long-cycle relationship management (six to nine months or longer per engagement)
The composure to sit across from CEOs and promoters of large, reputed organisations without overselling
Comfort running a structured, multi-lead pipeline – the tool matters less than the discipline
Demonstrated integrity – this role has real influence over which projects the studio takes on
Willingness to commit at least two to three years

Salary
Between INR 18 to 28 LPA, depending on experience and relevant industry exposure.
