Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and stress-test cost models for each international market and channel (Amazon UAE, Noon, Namshi, Amazon US, international retail, etc.). Know where margin leaks and where it compounds — by geography, by channel, by SKU if needed.
Handle cross-border taxation and compliance — VAT (UAE/GCC), sales tax (US), withholding tax, transfer pricing basics, import duties,



and export documentation. Know when to solve it yourself and when to brief an external tax advisor properly.
Manage international distributor and marketplace financial reconciliation — receivables, deductions, chargebacks, co-op spends, and payment cycles across geographies and currencies.
Own FX exposure tracking and currency impact on margins.
Support leadership with data-backed financial decision-making: new market entry feasibility, channel economics comparison, SKU selection for international assortments, and distributor deal structuring.
Coordinate with international logistics, warehousing, and 3PL partners on cost optimization.
Sales Accounting from Partner portal to ERP.
Liaise with external CAs, auditors, legal counsel, and banking partners across jurisdictions. Own these relationships.
