Come build, break, test and improve RentPhoenix with us.
RentPhoenix Technologies Private Limited is an early-stage technology startup building RentPhoenix OS, a platform designed to make renting simpler and more transparent for landlords and tenants in India.
We are currently a small team, which means you won't be joining a huge corporate QA department where someone simply gives you a list of test cases and asks you to complete them.
You'll be working closely with the founder and development team, exploring the actual product, finding things that don't work, asking questions, suggesting improvements and helping us make RentPhoenix better.
And yes — you are allowed to break things. ?
Actually, that's part of the job.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for one QA Tester Intern who naturally asks questions like:
"What happens if I do this?""What if the user doesn't do it in this order?""Why is this button behaving differently here?""Would a normal person understand this screen?"
If you enjoy finding little things that other people miss,
you might genuinely enjoy this role.
You do not need to be an experienced QA engineer.
If you're a student, fresher or someone trying to get your first real experience in software testing, that's completely fine.
What matters more to us is curiosity, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
What will you actually do?
You'll get your hands on the actual RentPhoenix product.
You'll:
Explore the application and try to find things that don't work.
Test current features before they reach users.
Check whether existing features still work after updates.
Create simple test cases and scenarios.
Test landlord and tenant workflows.
Try unusual scenarios developers may not have thought about.
Test different browsers, devices and screen sizes.
Reproduce bugs and explain exactly how they happened.
Check whether a bug is actually fixed after development.
Give honest feedback when something feels confusing or dif
