Responsibilities
Manage and support domestic direct tax compliances, including corporate income-tax return preparation, tax audit coordination, advance tax workings and related documentation
Assist in preparation of submissions, factual notes, reconciliations and responses for income-tax assessments
Represent / assist in representation before tax authorities
Responsible for compliances including withholding tax advisory, maintaining compliance tracker
Co-ordination across various teams in the organization for obtaining data, resolving queries, etc.

Required Skills / Competencies
Strong working knowledge of the Income-tax Act, domestic corporate tax compliances, tax audit requirements and assessment / litigation processes.
Hands-on experience in preparation /review of corporate income-tax computations, returns, notices, submissions and reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal finance, accounts,



business, legal and shared services teams for timely collection of information, query resolution and closure of tax matters
Support tax provisioning, contingent liability assessment, effective tax rate analysis and audit queries for statutory / internal reporting purposes
Represent / assist in representation before tax authorities and coordinate with external consultants, wherever required
Contribute to automation, standardisation and strengthening of tax compliance processes, controls and management reporting
Support tax assessments, audits, litigation matters and responses to tax authority notices
