About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Time & Absence Functional SME to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on expertise in Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management, with the ability to lead functional design, configuration, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
The candidate will work closely with HR, business stakeholders, technical teams, and other Workday functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a Functional SME for Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday functional solutions.
Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Time Off, Leave, and related business processes.
Design and configure eligibility rules, time calculations, time entry, validations, accruals, balances, and absence plans.
Configure complex time-off and leave policies,



including eligibility and accrual requirements.
Support integrations between Workday Time & Absence and other HR, payroll, and third-party systems.
Lead functional design sessions, requirement gathering, solution documentation, and stakeholder discussions.
Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and recommend required configuration changes.
Develop and execute functional test scenarios, including unit, system integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions.
Collaborate with Workday Payroll, Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Integration teams where required.
Support data validation, migration activities, reporting requirements, and audit-related requests.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and process documentation.
