We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our storage software team, working on firmware and software artifacts for HDD/SSD storage solutions critical to the data center market.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop storage software artifacts
Learn and apply storage-related concepts that are key to the data center domain
Implement algorithms and/or improve existing implementations, and participate in their verification and production
Apply sound design principles to build simulation and software architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product specifications, with a strong focus on performance and reliability
Required Educational Background:
BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Computer Science from a reputed college/university
6–12 years of relevant experience
Mandatory Skills:
Hands-on software development using C++
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on debugging experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in HDD/SSD firmware design, development, validation, or tools usage
Experience in HDD-related development
Experience with Windows/Linux device drivers (e.g., Serial driver)
Familiarity with system-level scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, or Lua
Good to Have:
Experience in product/project development using industry-standard SDLC processes, including creation of SRS (Software Requirement Specification) and SDD (Software Design Document)
