Job Overview
MedTech Product Development Acceleration Gateway of India (mPragati) is looking to hire an Engineer to work on the testing of medical devices. The person will be assigned to assist in the design and development of fixtures and tooling for the same. The person shall also be responsible for the development and validation of current standard operating procedures for the mechanical testing of medical devices as well as the continuous improvement of the testing laboratory activities.

Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct mechanical testing of materials and medical devices
Document all testing operations as per ISO 17025
Development and validation of standards for mechanical testing of medical devices.
Design and development of fixtures and tools for mechanical testing.
Qualification requirements
M.Tech./B.Tech / B.E in the field of Mechanical Engineering / Material Science or equivalent.
1 year of proven work experience in the field of mechanical testing.
Experience/training in ISO/IEC 17025 is highly recommended.




Experience in the design of fixtures and tools for prototyping is highly recommended.
Experience with mechanical testing of medical devices is recommended.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly and understandably.
Analytical and technical writing skills.
