Position Summary
The Junior Project Manager & PMO Coordinator supports the successful delivery of projects and the effective operation of the Project Management Office. The role combines responsibility for managing smaller or lower-complexity projects with project coordination and administrative support across the wider project portfolio.
Working with Project Managers, business stakeholders, technology teams and other functional teams, the role supports project planning, governance, reporting, risk and issue management, documentation and stakeholder communication. As part of a small PMO team, the role also helps maintain portfolio-level information, project standards, templates, governance routines and reporting. The position provides an opportunity to develop practical project management experience while gaining broad exposure to the management and governance of a portfolio of business and technology initiatives.
Total 10+ years of experience and approximately 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, PMO support, business operations or a related discipline preferred.
Experience coordinating multiple activities, priorities or workstreams simultaneously.
Exposure to structured project management practices and methodologies.
Experience working in a business or technology change environment would be advantageous.
CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management training/certification is advantageous but not required.
