Hiring for Sr Officer / Executive for Purchase Raw Materials

Department: Purchase – Raw Materials

Position: Sr. Officer / Executive

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, QA, QC, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Support vendor qualification and periodic supplier performance evaluations.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, purchase reports, and documentation.




Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and timely supplier payments.
Follow up on material shortages, delayed deliveries, and supplier-related issues.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in Raw Material Procurement/Purchase, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Basic knowledge of procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials.
Basic working knowledge of SAP.
Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
Solid communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
