R9 Wealth India Private Limited is looking for a motivated and analytical *Research Intern* to join our Research team. The role will involve research across *Mutual Funds, Investments, and Investment Banking*, providing exposure to both public-market and corporate finance research.

The internship will be for *2 months, with an chance for a Permanent Full-Time position based on performance* during the internship.

Key Responsibilities

*Mutual Fund Research*

* Understand and analyse different categories of mutual funds.
* Evaluate mutual funds using key performance and risk ratios.
* Analyse fund performance, portfolio composition, fund manager strategy and investment philosophy.
* Compare funds within their respective categories and identify key differentiators.
* Assist in preparing mutual fund research reports, comparisons and investment notes.

*Investment Banking Research*

* Conduct industry and sector research.
* Research companies, business models, competitive landscapes and industry trends.
* Assist in company profiling and financial analysis.




* Support preparation of pitch decks, investment teasers, industry reports and other transaction-related materials.
* Conduct comparable company and market research.
* Track relevant companies, investors, transactions and funding activity.
* Assist the team in identifying potential investment and fundraising opportunities.
What We Are Looking For

* *CFA Level 1 must be cleared.*
* Basic understanding of *Mutual Funds and investment concepts*.
* Familiarity with key mutual fund *performance and risk ratios*.
* Basic understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
* Strong interest in *Investment Banking, Equity Research and Financial Markets*.
* Good analytical and research skills.
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Ability to conduct independent research and present findings clearly.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Experience

*Prior work experience is not mandatory.* Freshers
