Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our presence in the education technology (EdTech) sector. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with schools/colleges/corporates, and contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop current business opportunities with educational institutions (schools, colleges, coaching institutes) - navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes involving academic leadership and management - along with corporate training segments.
• Generate leads through networking, field visits, events, and digital channels.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and negotiations with decision-makers.




• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns and offerings.
• Prepare proposals, pricing models, and contracts.
• Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance using CRM tools.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Support onboarding and ensure smooth implementation for clients.
• Coordinate assessment pilot logistics including in-school session scheduling and SPOC onboarding, handing off to the Customer Success team once implementation is stable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (MBA preferred).

• 2 – 6 years of experience in business development/sales, with experience selling into educational institutions (assessment tools, ed-content, or ed-consulting preferred)
