Siemens is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship end-to-end AI solutions in a team-oriented international environment. The role combines strong software engineering with hands-on AI, LLM, and agentic systems experience.

Experience

5+ years in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science roles
Hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM technologies
Proven ability to take solutions from exploration to production
Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders

Qualification

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field




Equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions
Build RAG and retrieval pipelines
Create LLM-based applications
Develop agentic workflows
Use classical ML where it is the better tool
Improve Siemens processes and products
Bring production-grade practices to AI
Apply clean code, testing, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and MLOps/LLMOps
Lead initiatives from concept to deployment
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Ensure timely delivery aligned with business objectives
Prototype fast, validate with real users, and harden what proves valuable
Work closely with engineers, product managers, domain experts, and business stakeholders
Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and platforms
Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proactively raise concerns, suggest alternatives, and engage in constructive debate
