Role Summary:
Design , Development , Prototyping firmware for BLDC motor controllers including speed control, protection logic, and system behavior for Angle Grinders , Chopsaws ( Power tools) etc
? Key Responsibilities:
Design 3-phase inverter (M89OSFET-based)
Select power components:
MOSFETs
gate drivers
current sensing
Design protection circuits:
overcurrent
overvoltage
thermal
Develop schematics and support PCB design
Work with firmware team for control integration
Support hardware debugging and validation
? Required Skills:
Robust understanding of:
power electronics
inverter design
switching circuits
Experience with:
230VAC systems
MOSFET/IGBT selection
Knowledge of: EMI/EMC basics , thermal design
? Experience:
5–10 years in power electronics / motor drives
? Bonus:
Experience in BLDC/PMSM drives
Experience in industrial tools or EV systems . Development of application oriented embedded cards for various applications like soft start, overload protection, forward-reverse motor rotation for universal motors
Experience in BLDC motor controllers will be added advantage
Implement BLDC motor control
Design speed and current control loops
Implement protection logic (stall, overload, thermal)
Interface with sensors (hall, current, temperature)
Debug motor behavior in real machine conditions
