Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Staff Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries. The role involves reconciling bank and vendor accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports.



The Staff Accountant will help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, while coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The position also includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting activities, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes.

Qualifications
Solid foundation in financial accounting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
Ability to prepare basic financial statements, support budgeting, and assist with financial reporting
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements relevant to corporate accounting
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills
