Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior TOSCA Automation QA Engineer with solid automation testing experience. The ideal candidate should have recent hands-on experience in test automation, test design, execution, and defect management. Exposure to Tricentis Tosca is mandatory. The candidate should be capable of working in Agile teams and contributing to quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, desktop, and/or API applications.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders.
Maintain test cases, test data, and automation frameworks.
Support CI/CD-driven testing initiatives.
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the testing lifecycle.
Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress effectively.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on experience in TOSCA Automation Testing.
Total professional experience between 4 and 6 years.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
Experience in Tricentis Tosca automation tool.
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as:
Azure DevOps
JIRA
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
