About the Role
The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions for Adults, children and adolescents . The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, special educators, pediatricians, and psychiatrists to ensure holistic care.
Responsibilities
A. Psychological Assessment
Conduct comprehensive psycho-diagnostic evaluations using standardized and culturally appropriate tools.
Assess developmental, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, adaptive, and social functioning.
Administer and interpret psychometric assessments such as:
Prepare detailed psychological and psycho-educational assessment reports.
B. Diagnosis and Case Formulation
Provide DSM-5-TR and ICD-11 based diagnoses.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to individualized intervention plans.
Assist in disability certification and documentation as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
C. Therapeutic Interventions
Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Parent Management Training (PMT)
Social Skills Training
Play Therapy
Emotional and behavioral regulation strategies
Develop and implement Individualized Intervention Plans (IIPs).
D. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
Prepare clinical summaries, progress notes, and discharge reports.
E. Training, Research, and Community Outreach
