ROLE OVERVIEW
The Grind Cafe is looking for an experienced Head Chef – Central Kitchen & Kitchen Operations to lead the complete food production system and kitchen operations across the Grind Cafe network.
The role will own:
Product Development → Production → SOPs → Packing → Dispatch → Outlet Training → Kitchen Audits → Quality & Food Cost
The candidate will also manage Store Controllers, Central Kitchen teams and outlet kitchen operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Central Kitchen & Product Production
Own production and standardization of the complete Grind Cafe product portfolio:
Bakery – Croissants, Puffs, Breads, Paninis, Calzones, Cookies, Brownies, Muffins, Cheesecakes
Kitchen – Breakfast, Café Bites, Momos, Pizzas, Pastas, Burgers, Kebabs, Rice Bowls, Biryanis, Kichidi & Signature Meals
Beverages – Coffee, Tea,



Hot Chocolate, Frappés, Coolers & Mocktails
Central Kitchen components – Sauces, Gravies, Marinades, Fillings, Dips, Patties, Toppings and Ready-to-Cook / Ready-to-Bake products
Ensure every product has standardized recipes, yields, portions, shelf life and production specifications.
2. Automated Kitchen Operations – Mandatory
Hands-on experience with contemporary commercial and automated kitchen equipment is mandatory.

Convection / Baking Ovens
Automated / Programmable Cooking Equipment
Commercial Coffee Machines & Grinders
Blast Chillers
Refrigeration & Freezing Systems
Commercial Mixers & Food Processors
Sealing / Packing Equipment
Must understand how technology can deliver consistency, speed, yield and lower manpower dependency.
3. SOPs & Quality Control
Develop and implement SOPs covering:
Preparation & Production
Cooking & Baking
Cooling / Chilling / Freezing
Portioning
Stora
