Role Description This is a full-time, in office Conveyor Belt Vulcanizer role based in Chennai.



The Conveyor Belt Vulcanizer will perform hot and cold vulcanizing of conveyor belts, including preparation of belt surfaces, alignment, and splicing steelcord belts according to technical specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include operating vulcanizing presses and related tools, inspecting belts for wear or damage, and carrying out repairs or replacements to minimize downtime. The role involves reading and understanding work instructions and technical drawings, coordinating with supervisors and site teams, and maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used. The individual will also be expected to follow all safety procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and support continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
