The Finance Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial projects and ensuring the effective financial management of the school. This includes budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a solid background in project management and a thorough understanding of educational finance, preferably within an IB World School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans in alignment with the school’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for various projects.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage financial projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring accurate allocation of resources.
- Conduct regular budget reviews and adjust forecasts as necessary.
- Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the Board of Directors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial disclosures.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
