The Deputy Manager / Manager - Technical will oversee technical operations, ensure adherence to testing standards, manage client relationships, and drive process improvements. This role requires expertise in Vibration, IP, ATEX (Explosionproof/Flameproof), Cables and Enclosures, and Appliances Testing (Temperature Measurement, HV, Insulation Resistance, Humidity Conditioning). The individual will lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve organizational goals and ensure quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations:
- Supervise and manage testing activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (ISO, IEC, ATEX, etc.).
- Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures.
- Monitor the performance of technical equipment and coordinate maintenance and calibration.
- Conduct failure analysis and provide technical solutions for clients.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical competencies of the team.
- Oversee task assignments, workload distribution, and performance evaluations.
Client Engagement and Reporting:
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring requirements are met.
- Prepare and review detailed test reports and technical documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to clients based on test outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all testing processes comply with national and international standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Process and Business Development:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support business development by participating in client meetings and presenting technical capabilities.
