Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager - Procurement Operations to manage and coordinate procurement activities across multiple regions.
In this role, you will lead a global team responsible for the end-to-end Req-to-PO process, catalog and supplier data management,
and procurement operations support for both Indirect and Direct R&D; categories. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with global procurement policies, and foster continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team of 5 FTEs across two functional areas: Content Management and Procurement Operations.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with global procurement strategy and operational KPIs.
- Own the Req-to-PO process, ensuring:
- Quality, accuracy and completeness of requisitions,
- Timely creation, modification, and closure of Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP (Priority),
- PO transmission, supplier acknowledgment, and follow-up/expediting as needed.
- Monitor and report on maverick spend and retroactive POs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and suppliers regarding Req-to-PO inquiries and reporting.
