The primary objective of this role is to develop and manage a nationwide network of channel partners who purchase certification exam vouchers from Knowlathon.
This is not a traditional corporate or enterprise sales role. Success in this position depends on your ability to build long-term relationships with training companies, certification institutes, test centres and certification partners across India.
You will be responsible for expanding Knowlathon's channel partner network, increasing certification voucher sales and identifying new business opportunities within the professional certification ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard and develop new channel partners across India.
- Build strong relationships with training companies, certification institutes, test centres and certification resellers.
- Drive sales of certification exam vouchers for leading certification bodies such as PMI, PeopleCert, Linux Foundation, ISACA and ISO certification programs.
- Grow business from existing partners while continuously acquiring new partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and pricing within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely delivery of vouchers.
- Track market trends, competitor activities and pricing to identify growth opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence and recommend recent partnership and business opportunities.
Experience & Skills
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales or Partner Sales.
- Experience within the professional training, certification, testing or learning industry will be highly preferred.
- Existing relationships with training companies, certification institutes or channel partners will be a significant advantage.
- Strong networking, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to travel as required.
