Senior Loss Prevention Manager position serves as the primary operational resource to support the loss prevention initiatives in the EDSP, Easy Ship and Seller flex programs. The mission of the India SLP team is to mitigate security and operational risks to the associates, data, physical assets & inventory. The SLP team ensures smooth run of the day-to-day business operations by protecting against various threats and by managing security and loss prevention risks, thereby ensuring a protected and secure work environment. This is achieved by preventing the SLP related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible; by intervening in unfolding incidents and exposures to minimize any negative impact; and by investigating thoroughly security related incidents to identify and remove root causes and to prevent re-occurrence. In addition, the job holder will support investigation activities concerning losses and other incidents within Amazon's Last Mile Operations,
conduct due diligence and audits to assess the Security of potential or existing business partners and vendors in the areas of transportation, storage, logistics and distribution of Amazon products; and define and implement regional Last Mile Security strategies for education and awareness across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support for Security and Loss Prevention teams; supply chain, logistics and transportation operations and coordination groups, other stakeholders with the Amazon organization and third parties.
- Deploy and implement risk assessment methodologies specifically cut to address current and foreseeable risks within the last mile environments, scenarios and use cases; methods to identify and implement the security strategies for last mile itineraries within the region, in accordance with risks assessment; and conducting security due diligence assessments on potential business partners such as wholesalers, third party logistics, deliver
