Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Specialist to evaluate, research,

and recommend listed equity fund managers and investment strategies for inclusion on

the firm's approved platform. The role involves in-depth qualitative and quantitative

assessment of investment managers, portfolio analysis, performance attribution, and

interaction with leading fund managers to support product selection and fundraising

initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on domestic and global listed equity fund managers and

investment strategies.

• Evaluate investment philosophy, portfolio construction, performance, and risk

management.

• Perform portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and quantitative analysis.

• Analyse sectors, companies, and macroeconomic trends to assess portfolio

positioning.

• Engage with fund managers and prepare investment recommendations for





internal committees.

• Monitor approved managers and support product positioning and fundraising

initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8–10+ years of experience in equity research, manager research, or institutional

investment analysis.

• Strong understanding of equity markets, portfolio construction, and investment

strategies.

• Solid analytical, quantitative, and communication skills with the ability to form

independent investment views.

Educational Qualifications

• CA, CFA Charter holder (or advanced candidate), or MBA (Finance) from a

reputed institution.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, and portfolio

analytics tools, drafting newsletters.
