Intro Summary Of The Role
The Business Process Architect (BPA) plays a critical role in the implementation and optimization of the S4/HANA platform, focusing on Record-to-Report (R2R) related processes including Tax and Treasury. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust process solutions that enhance data accuracy and business decision-making.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to support the transformation of the respective workstream within the organization's SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation. This position is essential to maximizing S/4HANA's capabilities and embedding industry best practices to optimize, standardize, and harmonize processes across Lonza.
Scope of the Role
- Responsible to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in R2R related to Lonza business model archetypes.
- Rethink existing processes and design current solutions with other stream members.
- The role owns end to end process design for Record to Report within scope and provides clear recommendations for key design decisions.
- The role defines and drives process standardisation, actively challenging deviations from the target operating model.
- The role assesses whether solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the long term target operating model.
