At TE you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer sustainable and more connected world Job Overview BU FUNCTION DESCRIPTION Digital Data Networks DDN Business Unit at TE Connectivity where we enable high-speed connectivity solutions that power today s and tomorrow s data-driven world Engineering team is responsible for development of cutting-edge power interconnection solution products which are used in the hyperscale computer AI Datacenter Cloud server and other IT system including connector and cable assembly We engineer and manufacture cutting-edge interconnect solutions that support high-speed data transmission signal integrity and power efficiency ROLE OBJECTIVE As MGR R D PRODUCT DVL ENGINEERING in TE Connectivity s Digital Data Networks DDN Business Unit you will lead a global sustaining engineering team responsible for the continued support and evolution of production parts and products throughout their lifecycle This includes driving product lifecycle management product extensions rapid NPIs VAVE initiatives sustainability improvements material and process changes and manufacturing location transfers The role also involves providing technical support to plants suppliers and customers to ensure continuity quality and cost optimization Job Requirements PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Bachelor s degree in mechanical Electrical or a related Engineering discipline advanced degree preferred 15 years of relevant engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years in a progressive leadership or management role Strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering principles with proven application in product development Demonstrated technical leadership in problem-solving root cause analysis and conflict resolution Prior experience in connector and cable assembly products is highly preferred Proven expertise in sustaining engineering and product lifecycle support including des
