Company Name VARITE India Private Limited About The Client Client offers comprehensive quality solutions from corrective to preventive actions to avoid potential quality nonconformities during manufacturing processes and to maintain smooth and error-free production in the Automotive Aerospace and Heavy transportation industries About The Job We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Inspector with experience in inspecting cable harnesses PCB assemblies and electronic units The role requires robust knowledge of IPC standards harness assembly guidelines ESD practices and component-level inspection The inspector will ensure electronic assemblies and subsystems conform to industry and customer specifications Essential Job Functions Perform EMI EMC testing as per applicable military automotive or aerospace standards e g MIL-STD-461 CISPR ISO 7637 DO-160 Prepare and verify test setups fixtures and monitoring instruments Ensure test parameters are maintained as per the test plan and anomalies are reported Assist in the configuration and operation of data acquisition systems and EMI EMC test receivers Document all test procedures results and observations accurately and generate detailed test reports Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot failures and support root cause analysis Ensure compliance with lab safety ESD and calibration requirements Participate in audits and maintain readiness for regulatory and customer inspections Support test automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the lab Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification Degree with min 5 years and Diploma with 7 years of overall experience 3-5 years of experience in inspection of cable harnesses and electronic assemblies Familiarity with IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies IPC WHMA-A-620 Requirements for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies Understanding of electronic schematics assembly drawings and wiring diagram
